Send documents

The Marketplace may ask you for documents to confirm information on your application - your income, citizenship, immigration status, or a Special Enrollment Period, such as moving or losing other health coverage.

IMPORTANT: Submit documentation as soon as possible if you do not submit documents by the deadline, you could lose your health insurance, financial aid, or the opportunity to enroll.

HOW TO SEND DOCUMENTS?

If you are a Generalcover Insurance customer, the fastest and easiest way to process them is to send us an email to the address info@mygeneralcover.com with the photo of the requested documents attached to the email or in PDF format. In the subject and body of the email you must write the name and last name of the principal in the policy along with the date of birth.

Once your documents are received, they will be updated in the system and they will confirm that it was received and updated in the health market, once the information is verified by the health market they will send a letter to your address confirming that it was verified the requested information.

You can also upload the documents online on the Health Marketplace page if you have a user account. Or you can send copies by mail.
